Diego Serebrisky

Diego Serebrisky is a member of our board of directors. Diego is an experienced and recognized investor in Latin America. Currently, he is Co-founder and Managing Partner of Dalus Capital, a venture and early growth stage fund based in Mexico (formerly known as Alta Ventures Mexico).

Prior to joining Alta Ventures in 2013, Diego worked at Advent International from 1998 to 2012, where he was Principal, Managing Director and Head of the Colombia Office. He previously worked as a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Co from 1995 to 1998. Diego currently sits on the boards of Xertica, UnDosTres, Kubo Financiero, Algramo, Technisys, Cultura Colectiva, and DecisionNext, and is board observer in ZeBrands (formerly Luuna). He is also a mentor of Endeavor.

Additionally, Diego was a board member of AMEXCAP, the Mexican Private Equity and Venture Capital Association, for two terms, including the role of Chairman from 2008 to 2009. Diego has also been a member of the Board of ColCapital, the Colombian Private Equity Association. He writes a blog on entrepreneurship and venture capital at serebrisky.com.

Diego holds a BEng summa cum laude in Computer Engineering , from Universidad Simón Bolívar, and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
